A veil exists in untouched land.

In places where forests still plan their roots,

And resist the hands of man.

The trees and grasses still whisper their fates:

Pierce the veil - if you dare,

More than magic awaits.

The world consists of the elemental five.

Of pixies, sprites, and fairies,

Air and water keep them alive.

Other creatures merely appreciate the earth.

Of dragons, and djinns, and phoenix that fly;

The fire element gives birth.

Wizards and demons vie for control of them all.

Wars broke out across both lands.

Where once was peace, enchantment, and ease,

Elements divided wizard families and demon clans.

As mankind continues to spread across the earth,

The creatures of magic are now nothing but lore.

Humans viewed nature with little worth.

And the darkness, lurking shadow –

Already there.

Few portals remain,

And fewer still go through.

Wizards and witches still pass between the void,

But of demons and fairies and goblins, only few.

In the twilight of magic

Humans forge the world as their own.

Regardless of the power objects once held

They make their buildings and roads of wood and stone.

The veil is stretched, patchy and thin.

Inundated by forces – without and within.

But still:

There are forgotten places where power still flows.

Beware human explorer,

If that is where your heart goes.

Magic changes you.
